Accident reconstruction is an analysis to determine why a crash occurred. It is an independent investigation using scientific methodology by our certified crash reconstruction specialists to examine and determine the cause behind many traffic collisions. Our findings can be presented as evidence in court.
What We Do
Our methodology is just like any other forensic or scientific investigation. We begin at the scene where a visual inspection is first performed. We note damage to the vehicle, road condition, obstacles or other dangers, street signs, skid marks, scrapes and any other local or environmental condition. All of our findings are backed up with photographic evidence.
We then will review any crash data recorders, police reports and witness statements. All of this information is compiled to recreate and summarize the collision including vehicle movements and speeds involved. Occupant Kinematics can also be used to explain passenger movements or ejections. All of this information can be used to create a 3d model or a computer animated diagram.
